Be a part of world missions right where you are: Pray for the men and women reaching out to their own nations with the Gospel. Some names of people and places are withheld for security reasons.
AFC Ghana has recently purchased a used van for ministry. Funds are still needed to pay for the vehicle. The team is trusting the Lord for the additional $8,000.00 needed for the van. Pray God will provide for this need.
Regional Director of Africa, Fred Amoah Darko, continues his ministry of training leaders throughout the continent. Pray God will provide funding for him to visit and minister to the AFCI teams in several African countries. Pray also that God will supply the resources for the team to hire a part-time secretary to assist with administrative needs.
In recent days, AFC Pakistan evangelist, Haroon, has been ill. He is starting to improve, but please pray God will heal him and restore him to health and ministry.
AFC St. Vincent continues to work through the three churches they have planted in Barrouallie, Mesopotamia and Buccament. Allister, the son of National Director, Verrol, will also be planting a church in the near future. Pray God will bring many people to Himself through these ministries. Pray believers in these churches will sense their calling for ministry and use their gifts accordingly.
AFC Ghana continues its outreach into the north of the country. Churches are being planted through the use of the Jesus video. Pray for Mohammed as he shares the good news. The team has also begun kindergarten classes for the surrounding community. Pray these classes and other activities will open doors within the communities to speak about the love of God.
National Director of AFC Pakistan, Samuel, had the recent opportunity to preach at a group session in a rural area. Team evangelist, Mushtaq, had arranged the meeting and many came to hear the Word of the Lord. Pray God would continue to work in the hearts of the believers in this group. Pray they will not grow weary in the doing of good within their communities.
AFC Canada continues its partnership with the Dominican Republic. Brian and Linda Hamilton will travel there for ministry in February, March and April. Pray God will grant them safe travel and good health as they visit. Pray also that the Lord would grant them wisdom as they explore new mission initiatives with the country leaders.
