AFCI Ministry: Why Would Anyone Do That? |

What causes men and women from so many different countries and different cultures to join the international fellowship of Ambassadors for Christ International as full-time preachers and teachers? It is not prestige or honor or financial reward or any other material benefit. These may motivate some people who join international secular organizations, but not those who affiliate with AFCI. What then?
A common purpose: To see God glorified as churches are revived, people are evangelized, and God's servants are trained to be more effective and dynamic in their ministries.
A common need: To have fellowship with others who have the same purpose and calling for their lives and to whom they can be accountable.
These men and women, having committed themselves to Christ, now commit themselves to one another.
Around the world there is another group of people, however, who, although not full-time workers with AFCI, have nevertheless joined in partnership with these evangelists. Why? For the same reasons. They have the same purpose in life and want to fellowship with others of the same mind. Perhaps you should join them. Perhaps you already have!
How does this partnership express itself?
Through the partnership of prayer. Why not use this web site as a prayer reminder and either pray through the listed prayer requests, or pray for one of our eight regions a day for the next few weeks?
Through the partnership of giving. Why not ask the Lord about this and then contact the AFCI office for information as to which men most need assistance.
Through the partnership of praise. God has worked wonderfully through the ministry of the AFCI evangelists. Why not right now just pause to lift your heart to the Lord in thanksgiving for what He has done?
We in AFCI rejoice in the goodness of God and ask you to join us in praising Him for He alone is worthy of praise. We know that all that has happened in the past is because He found people in countries who were willing to be used by His Spirit. May our commitment to the Lord, to His cause, and to our partnership with one another increase in the years ahead.
