AFCI Poland |
AFCI Poland is part of the Europe Region.
AFCI Poland is focused on working with churches across the country to evangelize their communities. Almost every week of the year an evangelistic outreach is planned somewhere in the country, in local churches, in cinemas, and sometimes even in a local community center or a castle.
AFCI Poland also holds sports camps, English language camps, puppet presentations through the local church, youth retreats. All of these programs are aimed at sharing Christ with the non-Christian public. Local churches are then able to follow up and integrate new Chrisitains into their fellowships.
Poland is located in Central Europe bordered by Germany, Belarus, the Baltic Sea, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia. Over 10% of its citizens reside in other European Union countries for work. Its residents enjoy a temperate, continental climate. The society is very secularized by Western relativism. Catholicism is the state religion but only 25% practice that faith. The evangelical church faces a lot of challenges. The Roman Catholic Church is deeply rooted within the government and locally carries a great deal of power in the decision-making process.
