LifeWorks is filling a great need for relationship evangelism through the church to the community. It is a ten-week course that helps people walk towards Christ. In a non-threatening, small-group setting, this informal and personal course explores spiritual truths that answer the most common questions being asked by those with little knowledge of God and the Bible. Each session begins with a meal followed by a teaching session and discussion group.
The topics addressed:
- Why investigate Christianity?
- What is God like?
- Who am I?
- What is wrong with the world?
- Is the Bible reliable?
- Who is Jesus?
- Did Jesus really rise from the dead?
- Why did Jesus die?
- How can I have a good relationship with God?
- Turning towards Christ
LifeWorks was created in Australia and then spread to New Zealand and other parts of the world. A new version is in development for North America. LifeWorks has been translated into Eastern and Western European languages. Progress is also being made on an Arabic version.
